What It Is

The Master Scuba Diver (MSD) certification is PADI’s highest recognition for recreational divers. To earn it, you must be a certified Rescue Diver, have five PADI specialty certifications, and log at least 50 dives. Our tailored bundles are designed to help you reach that milestone while sharpening your skills and diving deeper into your personal interests.

Who It’s For

This course is perfect for passionate divers who want to level up their skills, explore new environments, and build serious underwater confidence. Anyone can join the training, but you’ll need to be Rescue Diver certified (or equivalent) to earn the Master Scuba Diver rating.

• Essential – A balanced track perfect for adventurous divers. Includes 5 specialties: Nitrox, Deep, Drift, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Wreck. 12 dives over 4–7 days.

  
  

• Tech Edge – Want a taste of tech? This bundle includes Sidemount, Nitrox, Deep, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Dry Suit. 12 dives over 4–7 days.

  
  

• Conservation – Dive with purpose. Includes AWARE Shark Conservation, Dive Against Debris, Naturalist, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and PADI AWARE. 8 dives over 3–5 days.

All packages include one year PADI Club membership and equipment rental (dry suit not provided).

Where You Dive

Playa del Carmen offers the perfect mix of vibrant reef life and unique underwater environments. During your training dives, you’ll explore shallow coral gardens and deeper reef systems teeming with parrotfish, angelfish, moray eels, and curious nurse sharks. Encounters with graceful sea turtles are common, and from November to April, you might even add a Bull Shark dive to your experience. Want to take it further? Ask us about upgrading your training to include the world-famous Cozumel drift dives or the mystical freshwater cenotes just inland—two of the region’s most iconic diving adventures.
