COURSE STRUCTURE

The Sidemount Diver Course is structured through a combination of knowledge development, equipment set up workshops, and in water training designed to build confidence and precision in sidemount configuration and control.
Course Preparation
Online eLearning covers the fundamentals of sidemount diving, equipment setup principles, and gas management. When combined with Nitrox or Deep Diver training, the corresponding eLearning modules are completed before practical sessions.
Equipment Set Up Workshop
A dedicated sidemount workshop introduces full equipment configuration, cylinder rigging, hose routing, and setup adjustments. This session ensures you are comfortable and efficient before entering the water.
Confined Water Session
One confined water session is used to practice entry techniques, buoyancy control, trim adjustment, and basic skills in a controlled environment.
Open Water Training
Three open water dives focus on applying sidemount techniques in real diving conditions, refining buoyancy, propulsion, gas switching, and overall streamlining.
Multi-Course Extensions
When combined with Enriched Air Nitrox, the full Nitrox course is included, featuring eLearning and a dedicated workshop on oxygen exposure and gas planning. When combined with Deep Diver training, the program expands with four deep dives and corresponding eLearning, integrating depth management skills into sidemount configuration.

Take your sidemount skills deeper by combining them with Deep Diver training. This option builds confidence at greater depths while developing advanced buoyancy control, awareness, and gas management skills in a variety of diving environments.

Cabañas
Eco-designed cabins built from certified Zapote wood, offering a relaxed, nature-connected stay. Each cabana features a king-size bed, private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. A comfortable option for solo travelers or couples.
