COURSE STRUCTURE

This course combines independent eLearning with practical in-water training. You will build theoretical understanding first, then apply skills during supervised deep dives in real conditions in Playa del Carmen and Mahahual.
Course Preparation
Complete the required PADI eLearning to cover dive planning and safety procedures before arrival.
Training in Location
Review key concepts with your instructor, including depth limits, gas planning, and emergency procedures, then prepare for confined briefing and dive execution.
Open Water Training Dives
Complete 4 deep open water dives between 18 and 40 meters, focusing on buoyancy control, navigation, gas management, and task loading at depth.
Additional Training Options
Optionally add Nitrox or Sidemount training. Nitrox can be completed alongside the Deep Diver course to support extended bottom time and improved gas management. Sidemount adds 3 dedicated open water dives focused on configuration, buoyancy, and control in sidemount diving.

Deep + Sidemount

Cabañas
