The PADI Divemaster course is the first level of professional diving certification and a significant step beyond recreational training. The Divemaster program combines independent study, practical workshops, water skills development, and real-world experience in daily dive center operations. Training schedules vary depending on the package selected, your experience level, and personal availability.
Throughout the program, you'll participate in a variety of training sessions and practical activities, including:
Assisting instructors during PADI courses
Guiding certified divers under supervision

Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver
18 years old
Logged 40 scuba dives
Completed EFR® Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months
Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months

PADI certification fees are not included in the course price and are paid directly to PADI.
Divemaster Application Fee: USD $162
Candidates enrolled in the Professional Path package will also be subject to the applicable PADI Instructor Development Course and instructor-level fees.
