COURSE STRUCTURE

This internship follows a progressive training pathway from beginner diver certification through to professional Divemaster level. Each stage builds on the previous one, combining knowledge development, confined water practice, and real open water experience in a structured, supervised environment.
Course Preparation
You begin with onboarding and eLearning that introduce scuba fundamentals, safety principles, and equipment use. This prepares you for in-water training and sets the foundation for all subsequent certifications.
Knowledge Development / eLearning
Each certification level includes structured knowledge development covering dive physics, physiology, equipment, planning, safety procedures, and rescue concepts, supported by independent study and instructor guidance.
Confined Water
In controlled conditions, you practice essential scuba skills, buoyancy control, emergency procedures, and rescue techniques before progressing to open water environments.
Open Water
You apply skills progressively across multiple dives, starting with foundational Open Water training and advancing through specialty, rescue, and leadership-focused dives.
Workshops
Hands-on workshops support key professional skills such as dive planning, rescue scenarios, equipment setup, and Divemaster-level supervision tasks.
Additional Training Components
As you progress, you participate in guided dive experiences, internship-style involvement in daily operations, and supervised leadership training leading to Divemaster certification.
COURSE PREREQUISITES

Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months
PADI FEES

PADI certification fees are not included in the course price and are paid directly to PADI.

MULTI COURSE OPTIONS

This internship is structured in progressive stages, allowing you to move from beginner certification to professional-level training, with the flexibility to include conservation-focused specialization.
Zero to Hero (Core Pathway)
The standard pathway takes you from Open Water Diver through Advanced Open Water Diver, EFR, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster. It focuses on building solid diving fundamentals, safety awareness, and professional-level leadership skills through structured training and real dive center experience. This option is ideal for those fully focused on becoming a professional dive leader.
Conservationist Pathway
The Conservationist option includes the full Zero to Hero progression plus additional environmental training modules. You will complete specialty courses such as AWARE Specialist, Coral Reef Conservation, Shark and Ray Conservation, Dive Against Debris, and Enriched Air Nitrox. This pathway is designed for divers who want to combine professional training with marine conservation involvement and environmental awareness activities throughout their internship.

To secure your place in the program and receive access to your study materials, a deposit of MXN $18,000 is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance can be paid in one or multiple installments even during your training. Full payment must be completed prior to the start of the Divemaster course.
Please note that PADI fees are not included in the course price and must be paid separately.

Cabañas
